Medicare Advantage Plans

You can access Medicare Part A and Part B through Original Medicare, or choose a Medicare Advantage Plan for coverage instead. These plans are provided through private companies that are Medicare-approved. Providers must follow specific guidelines required by Medicare.

How Medicare Advantage Plans Work

Not only do Medicare Advantage Plans offer the medical coverage you need, but it is also common for these plans to include Part D drug coverage. The most effective way to choose the right plan is to talk to an agent who can help you review the cost and coverage.

In most cases, you will have a limited network service area, which means you will need to visit health care providers who are partners in the providers’ plan. These plans are designed to minimize out-of-pocket expenses, with out-of-network coverage offered at a higher cost compared to in-network providers. Some plans do not offer out-of-network coverage.
